The Vision of

Wild and Free Foundation!

Our vision is for conservation to be a community driven initiative, without guns.
We want community life to be enhanced by wildlife, so they can tell others in their community, no more rhino poaching. And that our lives are better because those rhinos are alive, not dead.

Wild and Free Foundation’s philosophy of saving the community from the outside in, starts with soccer.

Conservation is not about submarines, tanks and guns and everything it is about communication. We are seeing conservation as a community-driven thing, going forward without guns. We think now, together, there is a new way.

Wild and Free Foundation’s rhino conservation concept is to save the rhino from the outside in. And, it all begins with soccer.
Our goal is to raise the community to the point where their lives are now enriched by wildlife, so they can tell the few poachers in that village or town: no more, no more rhino poaching, because our lives are now better because those rhinos are alive. Not better because they're dead.

As the sun warms the African landscape, a white rhino bull is relaxing in the bushveld. During the hot and dry season, we spend the hottest parts of the day resting. While unwinding we wallow in mud to keep cool, if there is no mud, the dry dust and sand would have to be sufficient.
