We exist to decrease poaching of the African rhinoceros by engaging marginalized poaching communities and finding alternatives to poachingWFF is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit OrganizationAs a non-profit funding model (501c3 organization), the WFF relies on donations (tax deductible) to continue its valuable work. WFF’s anti-poaching campaign is promoting healthy and active lifestyles. It is uplifting communities by boosting self-esteem and empowerment. It also teaches these villages the importance of developing leadership skills, teamwork, strategic thinking, dedication, determination and goal-setting. These attributes can then be transferred as skills into their personal lives. As young children in Africa look up to their peers, they practice the same attributes. Donate to give children the help they need. WFF is a section 501 nonprofit organization and so exempt from some federal income taxes. Our primary activities are charitable, fostering amateur sports competition and helps preventing cruelty to animals. Wild and Free Foundation is registered and providing previously impoverished and idle communities with much-needed income and healthy outdoor entertainment. It is also opening the doors to entrepreneurs to earn money by selling their goods to the thousands of spectators at league fixtures. Wild and Free Foundation is not only improving lives, but it is also saving the lives of the young men drawn into illegal poaching, and of the rhinos and other endangered wildlife species whose very precarious existence is balancing on a knife’s edge.
